| Public noticing is normally required for any type of Use Permit.
You may have to provide the Planning Department with the names and
addresses of all of the property owners within a 300' radius of your
property, as well as mailing labels for the purpose of notifying
those owners about the Public Hearing (later in the article) which
they may attend to comment on your plans. Some jurisdictions take care of this in-house as
part of your permit fee. If they don't, some local companies
like SLOCO Data will provide the needed materials for a reasonable
