The Landscaping Plan

The Landscaping plan has a lot of the same information as the Site Plan, the property lines, building footprint, and North arrow, but concentrates on the plant materials, ground cover, and hardscaping (concrete patios, etc.).  The plants should all be noted with their scientific and common names.  A landscaping plan may also need to include information about irrigation (sprinkler systems, timers, drip lines, etc.).  These are not always required for a building permit, but are sometimes required for Home Owner's Association approval.
