The Landscaping Plan

The Landscaping plan has a lot of the same information as the Site Plan, the property lines, building footprint, and North arrow, but concentrates on the plant materials, ground cover, and hardscaping (concrete patios, etc.).  The plants should all be noted with their scientific and common names.  A landscaping plan may also need to include information about irrigation (sprinkler systems, timers, drip lines, etc.).  This plan is almost always required for a new commercial building, and often for an addition or renovation to an existing building as well.
