Plumbing Plan Plumbing plans are common for commercial projects and commercial tenant improvements. You may even be required to hire a separate licensed consultant depending on the type and size of your project.
This plan shows all of the water supply and drain lines, their sizes and materials the pipes are made of, including proposed changes to any existing plumbing. It would also show shutoff valves, their size and location. For food service businesses, the different sewer connections to the normal sewer line and the separate grease line are important to clarify.
