Plumbing Diagram Plans for most smaller commercial projects (as in almost all residential projects) do not require this type of diagram, but they are common for larger commercial projects, and even sometimes for interior tenant improvements depending on your jurisdiction. You may even be required to hire a separate licensed consultant depending on the type and size of your project.
This diagram shows all of the water supply and drain lines in a more specific area that is usually reference from the Plumbing Plan, in a 3 dimensional way in order to clarify specific connections, required vents and sizes, etc. You may need several of these diagrams for different required area in the Plumbing Plan.
